خداوندا،نام تو جاودانه است

‘هَلِلویاه! نام خداوند را بستایید! ای خدمتگزاران خداوند، ستایش کنید؛

۲ای شما که در خانۀ خداوند به خدمت می‌ایستید، در صحنهای خانۀ خدای ما!

۳خداوند را بستایید، زیرا خداوند نیکوست؛ نام او را بسرایید، زیرا که دلپسند است.

۴زیرا خداوند یعقوب را برای خود برگزید، و اسرائیل را، چون مُلکِ خاص خویش.

۵ می‌دانم که خداوندْ بزرگ است؛ خداوندگار ما برتر است از تمامی خدایان.

۶ خداوند هرآنچه را که بخواهد، به انجام می‌رساند، در آسمان و بر زمین، در دریاها و همۀ ژرفناها!

۷اوست که ابرها را از کرانهای زمین برمی‌آورَد؛ که برای باران برقها می‌سازد و باد را از مخزنهای خویش بیرون می‌آورَد.

۸اوست که نخست‌زادگان مصر را کشت، هم از آدمیان، هم از حیوانات.

۹ آیات و عجایب خود را در میان تو ای مصر فرستاد، بر ضد فرعون و تمامی خادمانش!

۱۰قومهای بسیار را زد و شاهان مقتدر را کُشت:

۱۱سیحون، شاه اَموریان، عوج، شاه باشان، و جمله ممالک کنعان را.

۱۲و سرزمین ایشان را به میراث بخشید، به میراث قوم خود اسرائیل.

۱۳خداوندا، نام تو جاودانه است، و آوازه‌ات، ای خداوند، در همۀ نسلها!

۱۴ زیرا خداوند قوم خود را دادرسی خواهد کرد، و بر خادمانش شفقت خواهد فرمود.

۱۵ بتهای قومها طلا و نقره بیش نیستند، کار دستهای انسان.

۱۶ دهان دارند، اما سخن نمی‌گویند، چشم دارند، اما نمی‌بینند؛

۱۷ گوش دارند، اما نمی‌شنوند، و در دهانشان نَفَسی نیست.

۱۸ سازندگان آنها مانند خودشان خواهند شد، و هر که بر آنها توکل کند.

۱۹ای خاندان اسرائیل، خداوند را متبارک خوانید! ای خاندان هارون، خداوند را متبارک خوانید!

۲۰ ای خاندان لاوی، خداوند را متبارک خوانید! ای ترسندگان او، خداوند را متبارک خوانید!

۲۱ خداوند از صَهیون متبارک باد، او که در اورشلیم مسکن دارد! هَلِلویاه!’
